Ballet is a classical dance form that can be mastered by itself or used as a technical base or supplement to other dance forms. Classes focus on overall body alignment and awareness with emphasis on proper usage of feet and legs and execution of turnout. Carriage and usage of upper torso and arms are also stressed. Traditional barre work, center work and combinations are included in all classes.

Hip Hop encompasses movement that has elements of poppin’ locking, and breaking, as well as freestyle movement, which gives students the opportunity to develop their own sense of style.

Like jazz music, this type of dance is highly individual, with an emphasis on showcasing individual skills, and dancers who specialize in it are skilled at improvisation as well as working with other dancers to achieve a desired look and feel

Lyrical dance is very similar to ballet, combining the many technical elements of classical ballet with the freedom, fluidity, expression and airier aspects of jazz, contemporary and modern dance.

Tap dance is a form of dance characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion.

Classes emphasize the development and strengthening of basic tap technique and terminology highlighting the importance of rhythm and sound.
