Mackenzie is 13 years old and has been dancing since the age of three. Her very first dance teacher was Ms. Amber. Mackenzie loves to dance because she is with her family and is doing what she loves to do. She likes dancing on EDC because she is with a group of people who are so loving caring and the best people in the world. Her favorite styles of dance or jazz, tap, jazz funk and contemporary. Jazz and jazz funk because she can go all out and use all of her personality. Tap because she likes the loud noises and the different rhythms you can make contemporary because she likes the flow movement and the ways you can express yourself. Mackenzie’s strengths as a dancer are her turns, jumps, kicks and being able to pick up choreography quickly. Outside of dance she likes to hang out with friends go shopping and play volleyball. Her favorite color is purple and pink. Mackenzie is most excited for competing conventions and learning new dances but most excited for her first solo with MS Lizzy. She wants to thank her dance teachers for pushing her to be the best dancer that she can be she would also like to thank her parents and brother for supporting her and driving her to dance.
