Katie

Katie is 13 years old. She has been dancing since she was 7 years old. This is her first year on Expression Company She started dancing in Columbia, Missouri at Columbia Performing Arts Center. She lived in Missouri for 7 years before moving to Illinois. Katie loves to dance because she feels that when she dances, she can express herself in ways she can’t do with words. Katie’s favorite style of dance is tap because she loves how she can make different sounds and rhythms wither feet. She also really likes improve. She feels that when she dances all worries and stress leave her. She is best at turns, using her feet and kicks. Besides dancing, she enjoys hanging with friends, playing the piano; playing oboe and spending with wither three siblings. She is excited to be a part of Eco 4 and she feels that the whole company has been so nice to her and they have taken her in as part of the family. She is also excited about all her dances especially her tap solo. She wants to be either a dance teacher or a school teacher when she grows up Katie would like to thank her parents E co 4 Miss Amber, and the rest of her teachers for being so s supportive of her. Katie is so happy to be part of this amazing company.
