Macey C

Macey is 15 years old and is extremely excited to be beginning her fourth year as a part of the Expression Dance Company. She has been dancing since she was 2 years old and has adored it ever since. Macey is thrilled to be a part of the Elite Company this year and to dance alongside all of her great teammates. Macey’s favorite style of dance is tap,because she loves being able to add her own music to the song with her feet! She will be competing 10 dances this year, 4 of them tap. Macey’s strengths are picking up choreography and her performance skills. Outside of dance Macey loves to sing, act, write, draw, and hang out with friends. She is a part of her high school’s madrigal choir and will be competing with them later in the year. She also enjoys singing with friends in an a cappella choir when she can.

Macey has been in numerous plays, with her most memorable roles so far being Belle in Beauty and the Beast at her school and Captain Hook in Peter Pan with Miss Micki and Expression. Macey would like to thank Miss Amber for always pushing her to be her best and for introducing her to tap. She would like to thank Miss Autumn and Miss Chelsea for being amazing examples and role models, as well as Miss Cindy for always believing in her no matter what. Macey would also like to thank her parents for everything they’ve been through (or that she’s put them through) to allow her to continue her passion and for giving her a second family, the Expression Dance Studio family.
