Kiya L

Kiya is 14 years old and has been dancing for 10 years and this is her 5th year on a competitive team. Her favorite style of dance is lyrical because it’s graceful and you can play around with it. She also loves lyrical because you can express yourself in any way. Her strengths in dance include learning dances quickly, jumps, and some extensions and turns. Her favorite part of Expression Dance studio is getting to know the teachers as well as her teammates. Kiya is looking forward to having two little sis’ and her upcoming dances this year! Her hobbies outside of dance include reading, writing, learning guitar, and listening to music. She would love to thank her mom and dad for supporting her in dancing as well as her sister. She would also love to thank her dance teachers who started it all and have given her critiques to help her become the dancer she is today.
