Congratulations to Grace Rhaeann Kennedy!
Grace is 6 years old and is in 1st grade at Downers Grove Christian. She has been dancing for 3 years. She takes 1 dance class a week in Tap. Please read the following excerpts from our interview with Grace!
What is your favorite style of dance and why?
Tap, because I like the new steps I learn.
What do you love most about dance?
The Recital & Bow Dance.
Why did you start dancing?
I thought it would be fun.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a Horse Rider.
What school activities do you participate in?
I’m in Bricks for Kids. It is about how things move using Legos and also in JAM-Jesus In Motion: A creative arts team where you sing songs and act out plays.
Who is one of your role models and why?
My mom, because she takes care of everybody.
What is your favorite song?
Our God is Greater by Chris Tomlin
What other hobbies do you have besides dance?
I like to draw, ride my bike & scooter & go for walks with my mom & my dog Cooper, play with my barn & horses.
What is your goal as a dancer?
To do my best & have fun.
