Dancing With Special Needs

Saturdays 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Dancing with disabilities gives special needs children the opportunity to dance and express themselves through movement. Students will learn the basics of ballet, jazz and hip hop. Every class begins with a fun energetic warm up, followed by ballet technique at the barre, across the floor movement and finishes with a small dance routine. The dancers will learn a choreographed piece that will be perform at the year-end recital.

Special Express

Expression Dance Studio is excited to announce its traveling Special Express Team! Special Express dancers will perform at local venues such as banquets and fairs. Dancers will learn to work as a team and perform in front of a crowd. The Special Express program promotes self confidence, leadership and artistic expression. Long lasting friendships and bonds will be formed between, not only the dancers, but the parents as well. Come join our special dancing community.

Special Express dance routines will be taught in the Saturday, Dancing with Special Needs class. Dancers in the Saturday class are not required to participate in Special Express performance opportunities. However, all are welcome and no additional charges will be applied.
